The landscape has changed over these last few years. Every year there seems to be a new challenge for the powersports lover. Costs are rising in leaps and bounds. First insurance, now gas prices... it's enough to make you rip your hair out.

Well, now some companies have been 'creating' their own lines of powersports accessories, or are buying from other countries. Some of these items bear a striking resemblance to E-Z Traxx products but are made of lesser materials, reducing their cost and quality.

Don't get us wrong, saving money is a good thing.

But, at what price?

Don't be fooled! If a powersports accessory doesn't say E-Z TRAXX on it, it isn't ours. Even if it looks almost exactly the same. Same relative colour, same relative shape, same relative everything.

We've had a number of calls from many valued customers this past year, claiming they bought one (or what looked like one) of our products from a company that used to carry our line. They told us it wasn't nearly as good as what they had come to expect from E-Z Traxx in the past. (I'm cleaning up the language a bit for decorum purposes, but you get the idea.)

Unfortunately, there isn't much we can do in these situations. We know it isn't ours because that company stopped stocking our items. Instead, the company chose a cheaper alternative.

Hey, if they want to stock an inferior powersports accessory that costs less, then go ahead. I suppose their research shows that people would rather save a couple of bucks and buy the same thing next year, when the product breaks. That's called 'good business'.

Well, it's not good business to us.

We stand behind our products 100%, just like we always have. But we can't honour a warranty on a product that isn't ours. No matter how much it may look like it. You get what you pay for.
